What’s more, we would ensure your design complies with current regulations and best practice guidance.

Many of our clients have realised they have an opportunity to improve their workspace before they come to us. They may have various issues with their office layout not working for them, they may need to accommodate new staff, make space for breakout areas or simply cheer their environment up.

We are independent and can source furniture from any supplier including your own if you have one. To save money, we can re-use your existing furniture or incorporate some of it into the new designs. Sometimes choosing a new style of furniture can be all that’s needed to create the space or entirely change the feel of your environment.

We can organise this so that you don’t have to worry. We take the care to identify everything you want moved and clearly label it; we can provide all the crates you need and help with the packing too. Our experienced removal guys use our drawings and schedules. They can strip down your existing furniture and rebuild it in your new location, build new furniture and even store surplus furniture off site if required. Moving doesn’t have to be one of life’s great stresses!

A lot of our work involves smaller moves, often referred to as ‘churn’ within our clients existing offices having re-planned their space to accommodate necessary changes to their business. This is normally done over weekends to minimise any disruption to productivity. We build up a good working knowledge and relationship with our clients and learn how they want things done so that changes can be handled smoothly, efficiently and ultimately, cost effectively.

Construction (Design and Management) regulations 2015. Recent changes came into effect on the 6th April 2015. We can help you with all aspects of the project which could include advising you as the ‘client’, fulfilling the role as ‘designer’ or ‘principal designer’. We can ensure that your project is planned, managed and co-ordinated in accordance with your legal requirements.

We can help with all statutory applications for your project including Building Regulations and Planning. We will ensure all the work is carried out to the current standards and provide all certification following completion of the fit-out or refurbishment project.

It is much more cost effective to make improvements to your designs before building works start rather than after. A design appraisal (DDA / Part M) is a desktop exercise where we assess your plans and highlight any potential access issues. As the occupier and service provider it is down to you to make your service / building as accessible as possible to members of the public, visitors and your staff where applicable. We can help you achieve this.

Ask yourself how accessible is your building? Could someone with mobility issues or a wheelchair user, someone who is partially sighted or someone who is hearing impaired use the services that you are offering?

An access audit starts before people even get to your building. Can they find you? Can they easily make contact? How do they get to you? It’s a lot to consider and as experts in this area it’s something we can really help you with.

Having an access consultant involved in your project can help to ensure the service that you provide is accessible to everyone. Building regulations give minimum standards for access into and around buildings but many funding bodies require a higher standard of access, particularly with European funding where an access consultant is identified as part of the design team.
